Customer Service Advisor

Hybrid Homeworking with office base in Norwich (Minimum 2 days a week in the office)

Full time, 37 hours per week on rota basis covering our Operating hours 8.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am – 5.00pm on Friday 

Starting salary of £25,351 per annum, with future progression opportunities to £26,969 per annum

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Customer Service Advisor to join our team, who is willing to learn and develop. The role is fundamental to providing an excellent service to our residents, so if you’re passionate about helping people and want to make a difference, this could be the job for you.

The role will require you to:

  • Provide a one stop service to our residents.
  • Be the first point of contact both over the phone and via email.
  • Report and schedule initial repairs.
  • Deal with rent and housing enquiries.
  • Work closely with our inhouse teams, suppliers, contractors, and tenants, to ensure an efficient service is delivered.
  • Support our residents to access and engage digitally.

About You

This role is ideal for somebody who wants to develop themselves or have a career in the Housing Sector. You will need to problem solve, be able to self-motivate, use your own initiative whilst working alone and take pride in your work. Having an excellent telephone manner and the ability to work in a busy environment is also essential.

The ideal candidate should have at least one years’ experience in a similar role, have an ability to provide exceptional customer service, and passes in English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent. You will also have clear and effective communication skills and the ability to deal with difficult conversations as well as experience in using Microsoft Programmes.
