About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician, to join our Planned Asset Team. If you have a passion for the work you do, you enjoy doing a job well done and want to be a vital cog in making a difference in our Tenants lives; then this may be the job for you!
The main focus of the role will be:
- To work as part of the Asset Directorate in ensuring that the Associations properties are kept to the Associations standard.
- To work closely with Electrical Planned Team Leader to deliver all planned Electrical works including Aids and Adaptations and Kitchens.
- Support with the effective and efficient delivery of electrical related repairs across the Association across responsive repairs and void properties.

About You
All staff and volunteers working for Broadland will always be expected to act in a manner that is consistent with our corporate values and behaviours.
The successful candidate will have:
- A qualification in Electrical such as City and Guilds (including AM2) or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- A Driving Licence as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required
- Experience of working in Property Maintenance (ideally in residential properties) and dealing with Customers directly.
- Good IT skills, particularly relating to using Smart devices for email etc.
- Good literacy to be able to provide accurate notes on the system and to communicate digitally with colleagues.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
