Heating Engineer
Based in the West of Norfolk (i.e. Kings Lynn / Dereham), but covering our Properties throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk
Starting salary of £40,029, with progression opportunities to £42,468 per annum, depending on qualifications and relevant experience, plus Company Van and power tools

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Heating Engineer to join our West Local Delivery Team. This role will ensure that repairs / servicing and breakdowns are carried out, providing a timely, efficient, and high standard of work to our properties. This is a key role in ensuring that our homes are maintained to a high standard, for us to provide an excellent service to our tenants and to ensure that we fulfil our legal obligations, so if you want to help make a difference to our tenants, this may be the job for you!
The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- To be responsible for effective and efficient delivery of our gas servicing programme, responsive repair breakdown and servicing. in both tenanted and empty properties.
- To ensure servicing and repairs are carried out in accordance with the Associations procedures and in accordance with the latest regulations.
- To provide an excellent service to our tenants to ensure that first time fixes are maximised, and call backs are minimised.
- You will be required to be part of the out of hours call out service

About You
The successful candidate will have experience of working as a qualified Heating Engineer and will be CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, UVHWS and EEDH Qualified as well as being Gas Safe Registered.
It would be beneficial if the successful candidate has experience of working within Social Housing and will have experience of renewable heating systems including ASHP, Solar Thermal, HR and MVHR accredited qualification to BPEC level or equivalent. As well as being IT literate, candidates should have good literacy and numeracy skills as well as excellent communication skills. A driving licence and DBS Check is an essential requirement of the role.
