Office base Norwich, but travel required to BHA Properties throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk
Starting salary at £28,689, with future progression opportunities to £30,439 per annum
Plus, Company vehicle

About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Improver to join our Operations Team! Are you newly qualified and looking for your next step in your Electrical career within Housing? Have you completed your qualification but looking for a role to help you grow confidence in your new trade over the next 12 months? If you answered yes, then this could be the job for you!
This role will work closely with our Electrical Team in assisting to deliver effective and efficient Electrical repairs, installations and general electrical works across responsive repairs, void properties and planned works (including Aids and Adaptations) whilst also allowing the Electrical Improver to build confidence further, ready to work independently as an Electrician.

About You
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE Level 5 / Grade C (including English Language and Maths alongside having completed the City & Guilds 2357 Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent, with recent electrical site experience.
Consideration will be given to applicants also waiting for final assessment of the C&G 2357 Electrical apprenticeship where this can be verified by the Training Provider.
You will have strong IT / digital skills to work with evolving IT systems as well as strong communication skills. Experience of providing a good customer service would an advantage as well as, having work experience within a similar role and being eager to develop their skills and knowledge via the training routes provided.
This role will be required to travel as part of the role; therefore, a full driving licence is required. A basic DBS check will be carried out before employment.
