Are you a Broadland tenant who cares about good housing and strong communities?
Want to help shape Broadland Housing Association at Board level?

Broadland Housing Association is seeking an assured tenant to join our Board as a Resident Board Member.

This role helps guide Broadland’s long‑term direction and ensures Board decisions reflect residents lived experience.

About the role

As a Resident Board Member, you will:

  • Help set Broadland’s long‑term priorities
  • Ask questions and support good decisions
  • Consider impact on residents, homes and communities
  • Work with other Board members and the Executive team

Who can apply

You must be:

  • An assured tenant of Broadland Housing Association (not shared ownership)
  • Not in rent arrears
  • Not under investigation for anti‑social behaviour

You must remain an assured tenant throughout your term on the Board.

Time commitment and support

  • Around 5 days per month (including six Board meetings a year near Norwich)
  • Join at least one committee
  • Induction, training and ongoing support provided

Payment

  • £5,400 per year (gross)
  • Reasonable pre‑agreed expenses (travel, childcare or caring costs) reimbursed

Key dates

  • Closing date: 01 June 2026 (12 noon)
